UI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality user interfaces with a strong emphasis on usability and accessibility.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into elegant and functional UI solutions.
• Implement responsive designs that provide consistent experiences across platforms and devices.
• Apply frontend development best practices including component reusability, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve UI quality and consistency.
• Maintain meticulous attention to visual details and deliver pixel-perfect interface implementations.
• Stay current with emerging UI trends, frontend technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
• Document technical decisions clearly and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply end-user empathy when evaluating and developing user interface experiences.
• Contribute professional UI engineering expertise as high-quality real-world input for next-generation AI systems.

Skills

Requirements

• Proven expertise in UI design principles and frontend development methodologies.
• Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of component-based frontend architectures.
• Ability to develop responsive interfaces for cross-platform and cross-device compatibility.
• Understanding of usability and accessibility principles for digital products.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to empathize with end-users and create high-quality user experiences.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to pixel-perfect execution.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote, distributed environment.
• Experience with UI animation, micro-interactions, or design systems is preferred.
• Experience building accessible and inclusive digital products is preferred.
• Prior experience working with cross-functional remote teams is preferred.
• No prior professional AI experience is required.
