Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret source technical materials, including API references, developer guides, and release notes, to produce well-structured documentation.
- Create and edit high-quality technical content including guides, tutorials, and architecture documents that clarify complex topics for developers and business stakeholders.
- Apply information architecture best practices to organize documentation for usability, discoverability, and scalability.
- Implement and adhere to style guides, docs-as-code standards, and editorial guidelines to ensure consistency across documentation deliverables.
- Evaluate existing documentation for clarity, completeness, and accuracy and recommend and implement appropriate improvements.
- Clearly explain documentation decisions, trade-offs, and reasoning to stakeholders and collaborators through written narratives.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience producing developer or product documentation such as API documentation, integration guides, onboarding materials, tutorials, or release notes.
- Expertise in technical writing, information architecture, and editing for mixed technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex technical concepts and communicate them simply and concisely.
- Proficiency with docs-as-code workflows using technologies such as Markdown, Git, and CI/CD.
- Experience applying established style guides such as Microsoft, Google, or custom organizational guidelines.
- Exceptional written English and strong attention to detail in grammar, structure, terminology, and technical accuracy.
- Experience owning the structure, quality, and strategy of end-to-end documentation sets.
- Background with leading universities or highly regarded organizations is especially valued.
