Responsibilities

Listen to and accurately transcribe audio content in Tamil while precisely representing the original spoken language.
Review, proofread, and edit Tamil transcriptions for consistency, grammar, accuracy, and adherence to project guidelines.
Annotate linguistic features, nuances, and other relevant elements in audio data according to project specifications.
Identify and flag unclear audio, transcription discrepancies, and ambiguous linguistic content for further review.
Maintain high standards of linguistic accuracy and consistency across assigned transcription work.
Collaborate with project coordinators and provide feedback or clarification through written and verbal communication.
Complete defined transcription assignments within agreed deadlines.
Adapt transcription and annotation work to evolving project requirements and guidelines.

Requirements

Native or near-native proficiency in Tamil is preferred.

Strong proofreading and editing skills for Tamil-language content.
