Senior NDT Inspector (Level II/III)

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret radiographic images, ultrasonic scans, and magnetic particle or penetrant test indications.
• Review authentic inspection data and provide detailed written and verbal evaluations in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Apply advanced weld defect acceptance criteria to make disposition recommendations for flaws and indications in welds and components.
• Evaluate thermographic imagery or remote visual inspection footage when required.
• Produce clear, concise, and technically accurate reports documenting findings, rationale, and recommended actions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with technical peers to resolve complex or ambiguous inspection indications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project protocols based on industry best practices and evolving compliance criteria.

Skills

Requirements

• Active ASNT or ISO 9712 NDT Level II/III certification in relevant methods including RT, UT/PAUT, MT, or PT.
• Minimum 8 years of direct experience interpreting radiographs, ultrasonic/PAUT scans, MT/PT indications, and related NDT data.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors.
• Thorough working knowledge of US and international codes and standards, including ASME Section V, VIII, XI; API 510/570/653; API 1104; and AWS D1.1.
• Expertise in making nuanced accept/reject determinations according to code-based acceptance criteria.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for detailed technical documentation and feedback to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to conduct objective, quality-focused work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience evaluating thermography or RVI data is a plus.
