Responsibilities
- Review and interpret complex electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and pneumatic layouts to assess equipment operation and fault pathways.
- Diagnose faults and performance issues across industrial, HVAC, elevator, heavy equipment, marine, rail, utility, and telecom systems using technical documentation.
- Analyze PLC logic and industrial controls to identify root causes of operational problems and recommend evidence-based solutions.
- Document troubleshooting approaches, findings, and corrective actions in clear and detailed technical reports for AI model training.
- Evaluate project scenarios against relevant US safety and operational codes, including NFPA 70/79, ASME A17.1, and OSHA.
- Communicate technical concepts and diagnostic reasoning effectively in written and verbal formats for diverse audiences.
- Provide expert commentary on practical maintenance, service, and repair strategies based on extensive field experience.

Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on troubleshooting experience in industrial, HVAC, elevator, hydraulic, heavy vehicle, marine, rail, utility, or telecom equipment.
- Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, hydraulic layouts, and pneumatic diagrams.
- Deep familiarity with PLC programming, industrial controls, and systematic fault-finding processes.
- Strong working knowledge of US safety and operational codes, including NFPA 70/79, ASME A17.1, and OSHA.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex diagnostic reasoning into clear documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze technical information and produce expert-level insights.
- Previous experience authoring technical service reports or service instructions is a plus.
