Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available and resilient PostgreSQL database architectures using AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL.

Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases in production environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and replication.
- Hands-on experience with AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL, including backup, recovery, and high-availability architecture.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for slow queries, execution plans, locks, deadlocks, and database performance issues.
- Experience maintaining large-scale, high-traffic databases containing millions of rows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fully remote team.
- Experience supporting data platforms, analytics workloads, ETL processes, and operational databases is preferred.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native service environments is advantageous.
- Exposure to modern data architectures and advanced database monitoring tools is preferred.
