micro1 is engaging highly skilled coding puzzle solvers for an AI training project involving algorithmic reasoning, debugging, constrained technical problems, and reproducible software solutions. Contributors will solve self-contained coding and technical challenges, work with unfamiliar codebases and terminal environments, implement and test solutions, identify edge cases and hidden assumptions, and evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness. The engagement is approximately 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule, and compensation is output-based.

Responsibilities
- Solve self-contained coding, logic, debugging, and technical reasoning challenges.
- Analyze unfamiliar technical problems and translate precise requirements into implementable software solutions.
- Select appropriate algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving strategies.
- Work within terminal-based development environments and unfamiliar existing codebases.
- Implement correct and efficient solutions using an appropriate programming language.
- Identify ambiguous requirements, edge cases, hidden assumptions, constraints, and potential failure conditions.
- Debug incorrect behavior involving code, tests, dependencies, and environment configuration.
- Develop tests and verification methods that distinguish genuinely correct solutions from superficially plausible ones.
- Review AI-generated solutions and identify logic errors, incomplete reasoning, and violations of technical constraints.
- Produce clear and reproducible solutions that can be executed and evaluated automatically.
- Explain technical reasoning, implementation decisions, and engineering trade-offs clearly.

Requirements
- Strong algorithmic problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as C++, Python, Java, Rust, Go, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to reason carefully about constraints, computational complexity, edge cases, and correctness.
- Experience debugging unfamiliar code or solving technically ambiguous problems.
- Ability to work independently in terminal-based development environments.
- Ability to produce reproducible and testable software solutions.
- Clear written and verbal technical communication skills.
- A public or otherwise verifiable Codeforces profile demonstrating meaningful competitive-programming experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to commit approximately 15 hours per week and begin the first task within 24–48 hours of onboarding if selected.
