Portuguese Language Expert

Responsibilities

• Transcribe and annotate Portuguese and English audio recordings with a high level of accuracy.
• Listen to and evaluate conversational and formal audio samples, capturing content, context, and speaker nuances.
• Review, edit, and validate transcripts for completeness, clarity, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Identify and correct transcription errors, inconsistencies, and ambiguities.
• Collaborate with project managers and other experts to ensure consistency and quality across deliverables.
• Use transcription tools and platforms to efficiently process and submit work according to project requirements.
• Contribute linguistic and cultural insights to improve AI model understanding and performance.

Skills

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Portuguese with strong spoken and written comprehension.
• Professional-level audio transcription experience, preferably with a portfolio of relevant project work.
• Familiarity with transcription conventions, annotation tools, and audio-data best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize subtle language and contextual differences.
• Proficiency in English for occasional English audio content and project instructions.
• Previous participation in linguistic data projects or AI training-data tasks is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to delivering high-quality, timely submissions.
