Responsibilities

• Review and correct French transcriptions to ensure accuracy and linguistic integrity of machine-generated outputs.
• Add comprehensive metadata tags and detailed annotations to transcripts for advanced data use cases.
• Analyze audio content to identify linguistic nuances, dialects, and errors overlooked by automated tools.
• Collaborate with the customer's team to uphold quality standards and meet project goals efficiently.
• Provide clear written and verbal feedback and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail across transcription and annotation activities.
• Adhere to project timelines and consistently deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.

Skills

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in French with strong comprehension of spoken and written language.
• Proven experience in transcription, including correcting and refining machine-generated outputs.
• Strong background in metadata tagging and linguistic annotation.
• Keen attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and consistency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and professional-level English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining alignment with the customer's team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Professional experience in audio transcription, linguistic review, localization, or related language work is strongly encouraged.
• Understanding of language technologies and machine learning data workflows.
• Experience working in multicultural or remote distributed teams.
