Responsibilities

• Watch video clips and annotate them according to detailed project guidelines.
• Tag actions and events in each clip, marking the exact points where they start and end.
• Identify scene changes, cuts, and shifts in pacing or action intensity.
• Label the tone or mood of each section and identify where it changes.
• Apply annotation rules consistently across all video clips.
• Re-check annotations and correct boundaries that are inaccurate.
• Flag unclear or borderline cases to project leads instead of guessing.
• Suggest improvements to annotation guidelines when gaps or recurring confusion are identified.
• Complete assigned annotation volumes on time and at the required quality level.

Skills

Requirements

• Background in post-production or editorial work, such as music editing, video editing, sound editing, or a related field.
• Strong sense of timing and ability to determine where moments begin and end precisely.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience during extended sessions of similar material.
• Ability to follow written guidelines precisely and apply them consistently.
• Ability to identify footage that does not fit annotation rules and escalate it appropriately.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Previous video annotation or data labeling experience is a plus but not required.
