Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Attorney (BigLaw Firms)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert analysis and annotation of complex M&A and corporate law scenarios for AI model training.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on M&A, private equity transactions, and related litigation topics.
• Review, comment on, and refine datasets to ensure legal accuracy and real-world relevance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contextualize materials and clarify complex legal nuances.
• Provide written insights and feedback on legal reasoning, transaction structures, and deal documentation.
• Participate in remote project discussions and iterative quality assurance processes.
• Support the development of evaluation rubrics and legal best practices when requested by project stakeholders.

Skills

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar admission in the United States.
• Experience practicing as an M&A attorney at an Am Law 100 or other leading U.S. law firm.
• Extensive experience with M&A transactions, private equity, and corporate advisory engagements.
• Strong litigation exposure, particularly within corporate or transactional contexts.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and clearly communicate complex legal concepts.
• Experience in legal research, drafting, and reviewing transaction documents.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and a commitment to meticulous, high-quality work.
