Mandarin Language Expert

Responsibilities

• Listen closely to Mandarin and English audio recordings and provide accurate verbatim transcriptions.
• Annotate transcribed text with relevant tags or contextual notes according to project guidelines.
• Review, proofread, and edit transcripts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Follow detailed instructions and maintain required formatting standards throughout the transcription process.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify ambiguous content and resolve linguistic challenges.
• Deliver finalized transcriptions within agreed project timelines and quality expectations.
• Contribute linguistic insights to enhance AI model understanding and performance for Mandarin language data.

Skills

Requirements

• Native fluency in Mandarin with advanced listening and comprehension skills.
• Demonstrated professional-level transcription experience, especially with Mandarin audio.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate deliverables.
• Familiarity with transcription tools or platforms is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage project deliverables remotely.
• Experience with bilingual Mandarin-English projects is a plus.
• Interest in contributing to AI training and language technology initiatives.
