Responsibilities

  • Draft litigation documents, including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery materials, in response to evolving commercial dispute scenarios under senior direction.
  • Develop and update case theory and litigation strategy across multiple stages as facts and instructions evolve.
  • Identify and articulate rubric criteria defining strong and effective legal responses at each stage of a dispute.
  • Incorporate feedback and direction from senior legal professionals efficiently and refine submissions to a high professional standard.

  • Work exclusively with public or synthetic case materials while maintaining confidentiality and legal best practices.
  • Produce deliverables that simulate real-world shareholder and LLC litigation assignments prepared for supervising partner review.

Requirements

  • Current or previous bar admission in at least one United States jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-JD litigation experience, including hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Specialized experience in shareholder or LLC litigation involving disputes among owners or between owners and entities.
  • Knowledge of fiduciary duty, shareholder oppression, buyouts, governance issues, and related shareholder or LLC disputes.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality legal work for shareholder and LLC dispute matters.
  • Exceptional written English skills with strong legal drafting and argumentation ability.
  • Ability to incorporate senior direction and feedback efficiently while maintaining quality across complex litigation scenarios.
  • Federal court practice or experience across multiple litigation matter types is advantageous.
  • Previous participation in AI training or evaluation projects is beneficial but not required.
