Responsibilities
- Develop complex and authentic research evaluation tasks in the life sciences domain.
- Create scenarios involving experimental design critique, protocol analysis, and primary data interpretation.
- Source and synthesize raw experimental data, laboratory protocols, technical literature, and supplementary documents.
- Construct realistic datasets and research artifacts for AI evaluation tasks.
- Define and document the correct methodological approach for each task.
- Determine appropriate biological interpretations of research data and findings.
- Create comprehensive multi-item rubrics targeting methodological rigor.
- Develop evaluation criteria for data interpretation and source fidelity.
- Ensure rubrics support rigorous LLM-based evaluation.
- Design tasks that reflect the nuance, ambiguity, and depth of real-world scientific work.
- Avoid simplified or purely hypothetical scenarios when developing evaluation tasks.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on research or laboratory experience.
- Experience with primary data analysis.
- Experience working with scientific protocols.
- Demonstrated expertise in protocol-driven, multi-source scientific workflows.
- Strong scientific reasoning skills.
- Strong source synthesis and methodological evaluation skills.
- Strong written English skills.
