Hospitalist Physician
micro1 is engaging Hospitalist Physicians to contribute medical expertise to a customer project focused on inpatient care and documentation standards. Experts will review FHIR data and clinical notes for AI training, verify that clinical information and claims are supported by medical records, assess inpatient documentation, identify missing or inconsistent information, and provide feedback to improve AI models and data quality.

Responsibilities
- Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training.
- Verify whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
- Review inpatient documentation including HPI, PMH, assessments, and plans.
- Follow project guidelines and apply the same standards consistently.
- Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in medical records.
- Provide feedback to improve AI models and data quality.
- Communicate clearly with the project team regarding work and findings.

Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
- Current or recent inpatient/hospitalist experience within the last 2 years.
- Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
- Comfort reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow clear guidelines.
- Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
- Experience working across different inpatient services or specialties is a plus.
