Responsibilities
- Author objective, precise, and non-guessable question-and-answer sets based on multi-part CAD assemblies provided in native FreeCAD format.
- Analyze complex mechanical designs with a focus on geometry, assembly relationships, and engineering function.
- Develop several technically detailed questions for each assigned CAD assembly.
- Ensure every question has an exact and verifiable answer that requires appropriate engineering domain expertise.
- Produce high-quality written questions and answers with strong technical accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate asynchronously through written and verbal communication to clarify project requirements.
- Review feedback and iterate on technical content and deliverables as required.
- Document technical insights, uncertainties, and ambiguities encountered during the authoring process to support continuous project improvement.

Requirements
- Extensive background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial design, or a related discipline with strong foundational CAD knowledge.
- Significant experience working with multi-part CAD assemblies.
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand complex mechanical designs.
- Ability to analyze CAD geometry, component relationships, and engineering functions accurately.
- Proficiency in communicating complex technical concepts clearly in written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated ability to author detailed technical questions, engineering assessments, training materials, or similar structured content.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing objective and assessment-ready technical content.
- Familiarity with FreeCAD or comparable CAD platforms.
- Direct professional experience with FreeCAD is preferred but is not a strict requirement.
- Ability to work effectively as an expert or consultant with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity in technical communication.
