Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for security-cleared roles, including sourcing, evaluating, and closing candidates across multiple domains and locations.
- Develop and maintain pipelines of security-cleared talent, including federal civilians, military officers, veterans, enlisted and NCO personnel, and professionals with prior U.S. government experience.
- Use specialized cleared sourcing channels and military transition networks to identify and engage qualified candidates.
- Screen candidates for security clearance level, status, and eligibility while maintaining compliance with applicable federal guidelines.
- Coordinate clearance verification with Facility Security Officers and customer security offices while using self-reported information only as a preliminary filter.
- Translate military experience, including MOS or rate and service history, into relevant civilian role qualifications.
- Build rapport and trust with transitioning service members and veterans throughout the recruiting process.
- Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, establish realistic hiring timelines, and deliver a strong candidate experience from sourcing through offer.

Requirements
- 5–8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with significant focus on cleared, defense, or government-contracting talent acquisition.
- Demonstrated success placing security-cleared candidates and actively sourcing within cleared talent pools.
- In-depth understanding of U.S. security clearances, including Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, and polygraph requirements.
- Understanding of clearance reactivation windows, reciprocity, and compliance boundaries during candidate conversations.
- Ability to interpret military and veteran backgrounds, including MOS or rate and service history.
- Familiarity with clearance verification workflows and collaboration with Facility Security Officers or security offices.
- Expert sourcing, screening, pipeline development, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to recruit for location-specific and hard-to-fill security-cleared positions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational and metrics-oriented capabilities.
- Must be based in the United States.
- U.S. citizenship may be required for certain positions and data access.
- Experience recruiting in specialized areas such as maritime or Navy operations, drone or UAS programs, or combat operations is preferred.
- Background as a military recruiter, Facility Security Officer, or veteran is advantageous.
- Experience with contingent, project-based, or RPO staffing models in the defense or federal sector is preferred.
