Responsibilities
- Author and review realistic evaluation tasks based on peer-reviewed journal manuscripts, scientific abstracts, conference posters, and presentation decks.
- Assess whether AI-generated draft sections align with publisher formatting standards, journal guidelines, and international publication ethics.
- Evaluate scientific accuracy in manuscripts, abstracts, and discussion sections.
- Distinguish errors in data interpretation or medical reasoning from stylistic or editorial preferences.
- Trace publication claims and narratives directly to Clinical Study Reports, protocols, Tables, Figures, and Listings to verify that statements are accurately grounded in data.
- Provide clear and structured written rationales for each assessment.
- Collaborate with project leads to refine evaluation criteria.
- Document best practices for scientific publishing workflows within AI development environments.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of dedicated medical or scientific publication authoring experience.
- Experience within a sponsor, CRO, MedComms agency, or as an independent consultant.
- Direct experience lead-authoring or managing peer-reviewed manuscripts published in reputable biomedical or clinical journals.
- Strong working knowledge of ICMJE, GPP3/GPP2022, CONSORT, copyright compliance, and journal submission workflows.
- Ability to interpret complex clinical data including Tables, Figures, Listings, and statistical analysis plans.
- Ability to translate clinical data into clear, publication-ready scientific narratives.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Proven ability to provide actionable and structured feedback on scientific draft materials.
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine such as PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSc, or equivalent depth of authoring experience.
- Therapeutic area experience across multiple clinical phases.
- Expertise in oncology, immunology, or rare diseases is especially valued.
