Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and validate analog, digital, power, mixed-signal, or RF circuits.
  • Translate electrical requirements into schematics, netlists, models, HDL, constraints, or simulation inputs.
  • Run circuit simulation, synthesis, verification, and related workflows using command-line-accessible or programmatic tools.
  • Use Python to generate inputs, automate simulations, run parameter sweeps, control instruments, and analyze results.
  • Evaluate voltage, current, power, gain, bandwidth, impedance, noise, timing, stability, thermal behavior, and other relevant circuit outputs.
  • Perform corner, tolerance, worst-case, transient, frequency-domain, or Monte Carlo analyses where appropriate.
  • Compare simulated circuit behavior with analytical calculations and physical measurements.
  • Diagnose issues involving component selection, parasitics, layout, power integrity, signal integrity, thermal behavior, interfaces, or manufacturing.
  • Review AI-generated circuit solutions and identify incorrect assumptions, invalid configurations, and unsupported conclusions.
  • Develop reproducible reference solutions and automated verification checks.
