Cantonese Transcription Expert

Responsibilities

• Transcribe and annotate audio recordings in Cantonese and English with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
• Review and refine automatic transcriptions to ensure alignment with linguistic and project guidelines.
• Identify and correct language nuances, speaker accents, regional variations, and contextual cues within audio samples.
• Deliver clean, time-stamped transcripts that meet specified formatting and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project leads to resolve transcription ambiguities and clarify unclear content.
• Provide linguistic insights that help improve AI training data and model performance.
• Submit transcription deliverables according to established project timelines and milestones.

Skills

Requirements

• Native proficiency in Cantonese with strong comprehension of regional dialectal variations.
• Professional audio transcription experience, particularly with Cantonese and English content, is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and linguistic sensitivity.
• Proficiency with transcription tools and audio playback software.
• Ability to type in both traditional and simplified Chinese.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reviewing or annotating linguistic data for technology, media, or research projects is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage assignments, and deliver high-quality results remotely.
• No prior experience in AI is required.
