Responsibilities

Transcribe polyphonic musical recordings into accurate structured notation.
Distinguish simultaneous soprano, alto, tenor, and bass lines from mono audio recordings.
Identify pitches, onsets, durations, rests, and re-articulations accurately.
Quantize musical events to the appropriate rhythmic grid.
Apply accurate key signatures, accidentals, and enharmonic spelling.
Generate, manipulate, and validate MusicXML scores.
Use Python to inspect audio, analyze spectral information, and automate portions of the transcription workflow.
Validate completed transcriptions through musical review, structured checks, or resynthesis.
Produce precise musical scores that accurately reconstruct the source performances.

Requirements

Strong Python programming ability.
