Contributors will review native FreeCAD files, analyze complex mechanical and aerospace assemblies, and create objective, non-guessable technical questions with exact, verifiable answers. Responsibilities
- Author objective, multi-part technical questions about aerospace assemblies that require exact and non-guessable answers.
- Review native FreeCAD files to analyze and understand complex aerospace and mechanical assemblies.
- Develop several high-quality technical questions for each assembly covering key features, functions, and relationships between components.
- Provide clear, technically accurate, and well-researched answers based directly on assembly data.
- Interpret complex design intent, CAD geometry, component relationships, and technical drawings.
- Collaborate through written and occasional verbal communication to clarify project requirements and maintain technical accuracy.
- Maintain a standards-driven approach so questions and answers remain comprehensive, relevant, objective, and program-agnostic.
- Contribute to project documentation and feedback processes to improve future question sets and workflows.

Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in aerospace, mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related discipline with a strong foundation in CAD principles.
- Hands-on experience working with multi-part CAD assemblies.
- Ability to interpret complex design intent and technical engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of aerospace or mechanical assembly features, functions, and component relationships.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Familiarity with FreeCAD or similar CAD platforms is preferred; direct FreeCAD experience is a plus but not required.
