Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer
micro1 is engaging highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineers for a global, fully remote AI training project focused on software development, technical problem-solving, debugging, system architecture, and code evaluation. Contributors will work across front-end and back-end systems, develop and review challenging software-engineering tasks, trace requests across complete application stacks, diagnose complex failures, translate coding builds between programming languages, and evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, performance, security, and maintainability. The role is output-based and requires approximately 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and debug front-end and back-end application components.
- Implement user-facing features together with the services, APIs, and data models that support them.
- Trace requests and data across browsers, front-end applications, APIs, services, databases, and external integrations.
- Work inside unfamiliar repositories and understand existing application architectures.
- Diagnose failures involving application state, API contracts, authentication, persistence, networking, and deployment.
- Create, solve, review, and validate challenging software-engineering tasks across the application stack.
- Evaluate and improve code written in multiple programming languages.
- Translate complete coding builds from one programming language into another.
- Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, completeness, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Apply full-stack engineering expertise to technical problem-solving and AI training tasks.

Requirements
- Strong professional experience developing production full-stack applications.
- Meaningful hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end engineering.
- Production experience with multiple programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of browser applications, APIs, application state, databases, and service integration.
- Experience understanding and contributing to the architecture of complete software systems.
- Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar codebases and repositories.
- Strong debugging and technical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with one or more of Python, React, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Rust, Golang, or TypeScript.
- Ability to evaluate code for correctness, completeness, performance, security, and maintainability.

- Ability to work flexible hours and days, including weekends if desired, provided there is activity.
- Ability to complete screening questions, an approximately 30-minute AI interview, and a technical assessment if required.
