Robot Wrangler - Operations

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate robots in commercial scenarios while maintaining uptime and consistent performance.
• Observe robots performing repetitive tasks and identify bugs, hardware failures, and performance issues.
• Document identified issues accurately in Jira for engineering review.
• Perform robot maintenance, including systematic bring-up and shutdown procedures.
• Follow prescribed safety protocols for robotics hardware and teleoperation equipment.
• Maintain an organized work area and properly manage equipment and components.
• Communicate clear written and verbal reports regarding system status, incidents, and improvements.
• Adapt to evolving operational processes and suggest improvements based on daily hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Demonstrated fine motor control and meticulous attention to detail in repetitive, hands-on environments.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and established protocols in technical or mechanical contexts.
• Ability to remain focused and maintain quality standards during extended periods of physical activity.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; familiarity with robotics, hardware assembly, or maintenance is a strong asset.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with logging issues in platforms such as Jira.
• Physical stamina for full days of standing, moving, and handling equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Recent academic background or practical exposure to robotics, mechatronics, or related fields is preferred but not required.
