Break-It-To-Build-It — Hardware Tester
Conduct hands-on functional and reliability testing of robotic sub-assemblies and hardware components for a next-generation robotics project. Operate diagnostic and measurement equipment, document procedures and results, identify failures and unexpected behaviors, collaborate with engineers on root-cause investigation, and contribute to improvements in testing processes and documentation.

Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on functional and reliability tests on robotic sub-assemblies and hardware components.
- Operate DAQ systems, measurement instruments, diagnostic tools, and other test equipment according to provided protocols.
- Document test procedures, observed results, and anomalies in written and verbal form.
- Identify, flag, and clearly describe hardware failures or unexpected behaviors.
- Collaborate with engineers and other experts to investigate root causes of hardware issues and suggest improvements.
- Follow detailed test protocols and instructions with high accuracy and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation.

Requirements
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Comfort handling physical equipment and performing hands-on technical assignments.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to reliably following procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate findings effectively.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems and terminology.
- Physical stamina for repeated setup, operation, and teardown of hardware tests.
- Prior hardware testing or laboratory experience is a plus but not required.
