micro1 is engaging Psychologists with expertise in child development and developmental psychology for a customer project at the intersection of psychology and technology. Contributors will evaluate, review, and annotate datasets relevant to child development, provide expert feedback on AI model outputs, support scenario and test-case development, and help improve how AI systems address children's learning, behavior, and developmental needs. The opportunity is suited to researchers and academics in child development or developmental psychology, with or without direct clinical experience. No prior AI experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets relevant to child development and developmental psychology for AI system training.
- Provide detailed expert insights and feedback on the accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance of data and model outputs.
- Contribute psychological analysis to scenarios, test cases, and real-world situations involving children's learning and behavior.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to inform model improvements and maintain psychological integrity in AI interactions.
- Create or refine guidelines that help AI systems address linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development across diverse backgrounds.
- Review AI-generated content and interactions for developmental relevance and psychological accuracy.

Requirements
- PhD in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in child development or developmental psychology.
- Research or academic experience related to children's learning, behavior, cognition, language, or psychosocial development.
- Experience evaluating or analyzing research data, datasets, model outputs, or behavioral information.
- Ability to provide detailed feedback on accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance.
- Ability to contribute to scenario development, test cases, and real-world child development situations.
- Strong written communication and research documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary and distributed teams.
- Comfort working independently on digital platforms in a remote environment.
